The HarmonyOS 4.2 update introduces several noticeable enhancements. It refines the gestures and animations on the tablet, providing a smoother user experience. Additionally, a feature has been added that dynamically alters the appearance of the control menu background as it is being used, enhancing the visual appeal.

Furthermore, a significant inclusion is the new storage compression functionality. This feature aids in freeing up space on the device by compressing less frequently used files and applications, all while ensuring data integrity. The update also enhances app-switching speed and boosts the overall stability of the tablets.

In terms of Wi-Fi connectivity, users can now select whether the tablet should automatically connect to new or previously used networks. Security-wise, Huawei has implemented a feature that allows users to block ads within applications by simply shaking the device, along with improved protection against malicious software.
