Honor Magic7 Pro Launches January 15 with £300 Discount

The Magic7 Pro can now be found on Honor’s official website across several European nations, with preorders commencing on Wednesday, 15 January. Although Honor hasn’t shared any details about the price yet, a well-known leaker, billbil-kun, revealed on Dealabs that the flagship will be priced at €1,299 (approximately £1,099) in Europe.

Price Drop Surprise

This indicates that the smartphone is likely to be €100 (£85) less expensive than initially expected. The price mentioned is for the model that comes with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. Customers who purchase the Magic7 Pro during the launch period will get an extra €300 (£300) discount for early birds, which drops the price to around €1,000 (£800). Additionally, Honor plans to provide a complimentary high-speed charger with the device, depending on stock.

Battery and Display Features

The European edition of the Honor Magic7 Pro is said to come equipped with a smaller 5,270 mAh battery, unlike the 5,850 mAh silicon-carbon battery available in the Chinese model. Still, this flagship phone boasts remarkable specifications, featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED screen that supports a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display can reach a full-screen brightness of 1,600 nits and an HDR peak brightness of 5,000 nits.

Impressive Camera Setup

A standout aspect of the hardware is its camera system. The Honor Magic7 Pro includes a 50 MP main camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor and a variable aperture that ranges from f/1.4 to f/2.0. Furthermore, Honor has added a 50 MP f/2.0 ultrawide lens and a 200 MP f/2.6 periscope lens featuring a 1/1.4-inch sensor with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, the 50 MP f/2.0 front camera comes with a time-of-flight (ToF) sensor, enabling the device to utilize secure 3D face unlock, alongside the in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
