Honor is said to be developing a foldable phone named Honor Magic Flip for the Chinese market, although there is no official information regarding the release date. However, a recent leak from a Chinese source has shed light on the expected launch timeframe of the Magic Flip.

Honor Magic Flip Launch Schedule (Rumored)

The Honor Magic Flip is anticipated to be introduced subsequent to the Honro 200 series. As per the leak, the Honor 200 series will make its debut first, followed by the brand's inaugural flip phone with a foldable display. Reports indicate that a selection of upper mid-range phones, including the Huawei Nova 13 series, Reno 12 series, Vivo S19 lineup, and the Honor 200 series, is set to be unveiled in China this June.

Specifications and Features

While the recent leak did not disclose specifics about the Honor 200 series and the Magic Flip, previous reports have hinted at certain features of the foldable phone. An unofficial render based on circulating rumors portrays the device with a substantial external display reminiscent of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. The phone is expected to boast a dual-camera setup, a leather back, and a dual-cell 4,500mAh battery.

Potential Launch Timeline

An earlier report suggested that the Magic Flip might be launched by the conclusion of Q2 this year, indicating a potential June release for both the Honor 200 series and the Magic Flip. It is conceivable that the digital series could be introduced initially, with the flip phone potentially hitting the market towards the end of June.

Moreover, Honor seems to have plans to unveil two additional foldable phones in the latter part of the year, namely the Magic V3 and the V Purse 2, as successors to last year's Magic V2 and V Purse models. These upcoming devices are anticipated to feature inward and outward folding designs, respectively.
