Honor is getting ready to unveil its Magic 7 series in China later this month, and an interesting leak has just provided a preview of the rear design and storage options. We previously got a glimpse of the front from a teaser shared by Honor’s CEO, but this recent leak gives us more details about the back design.
Design Overview of Honor Magic 7 / Magic 7 Pro
The leaked photos, which include both real-life shots and high-quality renders, display both the standard Magic 7 and the more advanced Magic 7 Pro. The most eye-catching aspect on the back is the camera module—shaped like an octagon and framed in silver or gray. One of the renders even shows a version with a gold border.

Inside this module, there are three camera sensors, which include a periscope telephoto lens, along with an LED flash. Honor is keeping its branding simple, with just its name printed at the bottom of the rear panel.
Storage and Color Options
In addition to the design, another leak has shared information about the storage options and color selections for the smartphones. According to the source Digital Chat Station, the basic Magic 7 might have storage choices of 512GB and an impressive 1TB, available in colors like Gold, White, Black, Blue, and Gray.
Conversely, the Magic 7 Pro is likely to come in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB versions, featuring a more understated color palette that includes White, Black, Blue, and Gray.
This leak arises just before Honor is set to officially launch its MagicOS 9.0 operating system on October 23rd, 2024. Following that, the Magic 7 series is anticipated to be highlighted on October 30th in China.
Expected Specifications
While there hasn't been an official statement yet, it's believed that the Magic 7 series will boast flagship specifications, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a triple rear camera system.
The camera setup might consist of a 50MP main sensor (Omnivision OV50H), a 50MP periscope telephoto lens (Sony IMX882), and a third sensor that could range from 50MP to 200MP (Samsung HP3).
