Honor Band 9: Official Release with Larger Curved Display and 14-Day Battery Life

The Honor Band 9 has been officially introduced, succeeding the Honor Band 7 that was revealed towards the end of 2022. This latest fitness tracker from the company was unveiled during the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate launch event in China, alongside the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design.

Honor Band 9 Specifications

The Honor Band 9 features a rectangular AMOLED display similar to its predecessor, the Honor Band 7, but with enhancements. The screen is now larger, sharper, smoother, and curved. With a 1.57-inch panel offering a resolution of 402 x 256 pixels, 302 PPI, and a 60Hz refresh rate, this marks an improvement over the previous model with a 1.47-inch display and a resolution of 364 x 198 pixels. The device retains a plastic body with a metal-like finish on the sides and maintains water resistance up to 5ATM.

Advanced Features

Equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, the Honor Band 9 can link with Android 9.0 or higher smartphones and iPhones running iOS 11 or later through the Honor Health app. Alongside standard health functions like sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, and blood oxygen level tracking, this fitness tracker supports 96 sports modes and stress level monitoring. It also includes features like music playback control, call alerts, app notifications, weather updates, alarms, and more. The Honor Band 9 boasts a battery life of up to 14 days on a full charge.

In China, the Honor Band 9 is priced at ¥249 (~$35) and is available in Black, Purple, and Blue color choices. Customers can currently purchase it with a ¥20 limited-time discount.
