Honor 200 Lite Spotted on UAE Certification Site, Potential Launch Soon

Honor, the smartphone maker, seems to be developing its upcoming line of smartphones in the number series. An approved listing from the TRDA (Telecommunications and Digital Regulatory Authority) in the United Arab Emirates reveals details about a device named the Honor 200 Lite, identified by the model number LLY-NX1.

Insights on Honor's New Series

The certification provides a glimpse into Honor's next series, which will be known as the “Honor 200 Series.” Additionally, it suggests the inclusion of a “Lite” variant within this lineup, marking a departure from the previous Honor 100 series which only featured standard and pro models.

Honor's Smartphone Evolution

The Honor 100 series, unveiled in China in November 2023, was comprised solely of standard and pro models. The emergence of the Honor 200 Lite indicates a fresh addition to Honor's smartphone offerings.

The TRDA certification, although limited in detail, signifies the direction Honor is taking with its new line. Further specifics about the Honor 200 Lite and the broader Honor 200 series are anticipated to surface in due course.

Honor 100 Series Overview

Diving into the specifications of the Honor 100 series, both the Honor 100 and 100 Pro showcase quad-curved OLED displays. Notably, the front camera setups differ slightly: the Honor 100 features a single punch-hole camera, whereas the Pro integrates a pill-shaped dual-lens configuration. Each model also exhibits unique rear camera modules.

Both phones present similar screen attributes, featuring either a 6.7-inch (Honor 100) or 6.78-inch (Honor 100 Pro) OLED screen with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and high brightness levels. Security is fortified by an in-display fingerprint sensor.

In terms of performance, the Honor 100 employs the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, while its counterpart, the 100 Pro, operates on the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Camera-wise, both devices sport a 50MP OIS-enabled primary rear camera alongside a 12MP ultrawide lens. The Pro variant further incorporates a 32MP telephoto camera for optical zoom capabilities.

Furthermore, both smartphones are equipped with 5,000mAh batteries supporting 100W fast charging, with the Pro model exclusively offering 66W wireless charging compatibility. Additional features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and more.
