HMD Ridge Pro: 120Hz Display and 5500mAh Battery Leak Reveals

HMD appears to be preparing to introduce a variety of new devices. Recently, reports surfaced about HMD Skyline and HMD Atlas being in the pipeline. Now, another leak from tipster HMD_MEME’S hints at a new device named the HMD Ridge Pro currently being developed by the company.

The tipster released a render of the device, showcasing a simple back design with three camera rings and an LED light. Regarding specifications, the Ridge Pro is rumored to feature a 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits of brightness.

Specifications and Performance

Leaks suggest that the phone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, a budget-friendly chipset from Qualcomm. It will offer either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB, which can be expanded via a microSD card.

The Ridge Pro's camera setup is expected to include a triple-sensor configuration on the rear with a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is also anticipated to be a 50MP sensor.

Additional Features

Moreover, the tipster claims the phone will feature a substantial 5,500mAh battery, support 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and include a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will have an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, enhancing its durability. The device is expected to run on Android 14 and will be available in three colors: Mocha, Snow, and Glacier Green.

It's worth noting that these details are based on leaks, and the source, HMD_MEME’S, is relatively new. Therefore, it's prudent to take this information with caution. An official announcement from HMD is necessary to confirm the details about the phone.
