According to a recent rumor, the Galaxy Watch FE might debut on June 24. For context, Samsung released the Watch 6 series in July last year. Now, the latest buzz is that the Galaxy Watch FE has been spotted on a Dutch e-commerce site, priced at 219 euros.
Galaxy Watch FE spotted on Mobile.nl
In the past few weeks, there have been numerous leaks and rumors regarding the new Fan Edition watch. For instance, it's known that this watch will be an upgraded version of the Galaxy Watch 4, which Samsung released in 2021. While Samsung has not yet made an official announcement or confirmed the rumors, online retailers are stepping in.
Listed on Mobile.nl
Interestingly, the listing on Mobile.nl was taken down shortly after it went live. However, as is often the case, the internet never forgets.
The Galaxy Watch FE was listed in three colors: black, pink, and light blue. It features a standard size of 40 millimeters. While the listing allowed for pre-orders, it did not specify an exact release date.
Specifications and Features
The Galaxy Watch FE bears a strong resemblance to the Watch 4 in terms of specifications. It is equipped with the Exynos W920 chip, which is coupled with 16GB of storage and 1.5GB of memory. The display is a 1.2-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 396 by 396 pixels. Additionally, it includes an NFC chip for contactless payments.
It boasts an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and reportedly includes heart rate monitoring along with other health tracking features, similar to the Galaxy Watch 6 series from last year. The watch runs on Google’s WearOS operating system, allowing users to download apps from the Play Store.
However, this isn't the first sighting of the Galaxy Watch FE on an e-commerce platform. Just a few days ago, the product was also listed on Amazon.
