The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is set to be revealed this month at the company's first Unpacked event of the year. While many details have emerged over the last few months, a recent leak has shed light on some specific features of the three models.
Snapdragon Chipset Details
According to a post on X by Ishan Agarwal, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will be launched globally with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This indicates that there won't be an Exynos processor for this flagship series, which isn’t surprising given that earlier leaks have suggested this too. Benchmark results from European versions have already indicated the use of the Qualcomm chip. Ishan Agarwal's mention of retail sources adds even more credibility to these previous reports.
Color Options and Design Changes
The standard Galaxy S25 and S25+ are expected to come in four colors: Navy, Mint, Icy Blue, and Silver Shadow. The top-tier Galaxy S25 Ultra will be available in Titanium Black, Titanium Silver Blue, Titanium Grey, and Titanium White Silver. All three models are reportedly designed to be smaller and lighter compared to the older versions, except for the S25 Ultra, which is said to be taller than the S24 Ultra.
Pricing and Future Launches
The Galaxy S25 is expected to be priced at €1,079 for the version with 512 GB of storage. All models will come with 12 GB of RAM as standard. Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that the anticipated Galaxy S25 Slim will not be released this month. That model is expected to launch later in the year, likely in conjunction with the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 around July or August.
