Samsung has begun trialing the One UI for its upcoming Galaxy A16 4G, indicating that the smartphone will soon make its debut. This model, identified on the Samsung OTA server, is set to enhance the competition within the budget-friendly phone segment.
The Arrival of the Galaxy A16 Series
The Galaxy A16 4G has successfully undergone its initial One UI software test, with the current software build identified as A165FXXU0AXH7. Since it has only been tested once, it suggests that the device is still in the developmental stages. We had previously shared insights about the high-tier Galaxy A16 series model, the Galaxy A16 5G, which boasts a 5000 mAh battery and a robust chipset. In contrast, the Galaxy A16 4G will serve as a more budget-friendly option compared to its 5G counterpart.
Features and Expectations
Samsung’s forthcoming affordable smartphone will carry the model number “SM-A165F” and will be marketed as the Galaxy A16 4G. This device is anticipated to include a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display, a high-efficiency chipset, a 50MP primary camera, a 13MP front-facing camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy A15 4G during the last quarter of 2023. Although the release date for the new Galaxy A16 4G has not been specified, it is expected to be launched in the final quarter of this year, similar to the Galaxy A15 4G.
