Japanese electronics company Fujitsu, known for their durable and lightweight laptops, has introduced the new Fujitsu FMV Note U laptop, which tips the scales at just 848 grams (around 1.87 pounds).
Powerful Performance
The FMV Note U comes equipped with Intel’s Lunar Lake processors, with options that go up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V, which includes 4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. It supports a maximum of 32GB of LPDDR5x-8533 RAM and has Intel Arc 140V integrated graphics. The base model features an Intel Core Ultra 7 256V, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage, with upgrade options for memory and storage available for an extra fee. The laptop’s dimensions are 308.8 x 209 x 17.3mm, and it packs a 64Wh battery.
Display and Connectivity
The display is a 14-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, HDMI, Ethernet, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microSD card reader. Notable features are a backlit keyboard, a 2MP IR camera that supports Windows Hello, a fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth capabilities.
Pricing and Availability
The FMV Note U is currently available in Japan, starting at ¥214,000 (around $1,375). Higher-end configurations that offer additional memory or storage will come at a higher price. There is still no confirmation on when it will be available globally.
