Motorola introduced the Moto G85 to the European market in June, and now, its Indian launch is imminent. The brand hinted at the smartphone's upcoming release last week, and Flipkart has just disclosed the pricing for the Indian market. The pricing for the Moto G85 appeared on Google ads, revealing the cost for the high-end 12GB + 256GB variant. Motorola is set to launch this model at 18,999 INR (approximately 228 US Dollars) in India. It's important to note that this price reflects the final amount after all applicable offers. A base variant with 8GB + 128GB storage is also expected to be announced, but its price remains unknown.
Launch Date and Specifications
The Moto G85 is set to be released in India on 10th July 2024. Motorola has confirmed several specifications, which are consistent with the European version. The G85 features a 6.67-inch curved pOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1600 nits peak brightness.
The back of the phone houses a 50-megapixel Sony LYT600 primary camera, complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 32-megapixel front camera. Inside, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen SoC and boasts a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W wired fast charging. Additionally, the device is water and dust resistant with an IP52 rating and runs on Android 14 OS right out of the box.
