Edifier Huazai Halo Space Headphones: 45dB ANC, 50hrs

Edifier’s subbrand Huazai from China has launched the Halo Space over-ear headphones, showcasing impressive features like head-tracking spatial audio and tri-mode connectivity. Priced at 869 Yuan ($120), these headphones merge premium audio technology with a user-centric design. Let's explore its main specifications.

Edifier Huazai Halo Space Specifications:

The Halo Space headphones boast 40mm multi-layer composite diaphragm dynamic drivers, engineered to produce rich bass, smooth midrange, and crisp high frequencies up to 40kHz. These drivers are housed in an independent cavity structure that minimizes external noise, enhancing sound clarity and balance.

Certified for Hi-Res Audio, the headphones support high-definition audio codecs such as LDAC and LHDC 5.0, facilitating high-resolution audio playback that preserves the original sound quality.

Advanced Audio Technology:

Equipped with head-tracking spatial audio technology, the Halo Space headphones deliver a 360° surround sound experience. This technology dynamically adjusts the sound based on the user's head movements, providing an immersive experience for gaming, movies, and music.

The headphones support a tri-mode connection, enabling users to switch between 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth 5.3, and wired connections. The 2.4G wireless mode offers ultra-low latency of 0.017 seconds, ensuring perfect audio-visual sync during gaming sessions.

Active noise cancellation (ANC) is another notable feature, with a noise reduction depth of up to -45dB. There are four noise cancellation modes: deep noise cancellation for loud environments, comfort noise cancellation, wind noise resistance mode, and ambient sound mode. Designed for comfort, the headphones feature air-skin-friendly ear cushions and an adjustable headband for prolonged use.

Battery Life and Customization:

The Halo Space headphones provide up to 50 hours of playback without noise cancellation and up to 30 hours with it enabled. They also feature a quick charge option, delivering 11 hours of usage from just a 15-minute charge. Additional features include customizable RGB lighting effects, which can be controlled via the Edifier Connect app or the PC client Edifier TempoHub, allowing users to adjust sound effects, lighting, and other settings.

Available in Boundary Black and Dawn White, the headphones weigh approximately 327g. They are designed to be compatible with a variety of devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and PCs. The Halo Space headphones also come with a detachable high-definition microphone and advanced AI noise cancellation for clear communication during calls and gaming.
