When you ask questions or provide prompts, DuckDuckGo AI Chat forwards them to the appropriate chatbot (such as OpenAI GPT-3.5 Turbo or Anthropic’s Claude 3 Haiku) while stripping any personal information from your queries. The chatbots will only see DuckDuckGo’s IP address, not your own, ensuring your anonymity is preserved.
