Navigation and obstacle detection are handled by LiDAR along with two front-facing cameras, which means there’s no longer a need for a traditional laser tower on top. DJI claims that flat objects on the floor, like playing cards, and wet spots will be easily detected.

Mopping Features

For its mopping function, DJI includes the standard two rotating mops at the back of the vacuum. It also has an extendable side brush and a split roller to help prevent hair from getting tangled.

All three models come with a cleaning station that resembles the Roborock Curv, which not only washes the mops but also empties the dust container. The Romo P, being the premium model, includes extra features like UV technology for disinfection and to help eliminate odors.

Pricing and Availability

In addition, the Romo P is priced at 6,799 yuan (which is about $945) in China and boasts a completely transparent design for both the station and the vacuum itself, a unique choice. The Romo A, costing around $755, has a transparent vacuum only, while the Romo S, priced at just over $640, is available in a classic white color. At the moment, all models are exclusive to China, and there’s no information yet on when they might be released globally.
