Realme is set to launch its Realme 12 series in the near future, with the phones expected to debut in India by the end of January. However, there is a possibility that the handsets may first be released in China. The devices have recently been listed on TENAA, which has revealed their design.
Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus Design
The Realme 12 series is anticipated to consist of three models: Realme 12, Realme 12 Pro, and Realme 12 Pro Plus. The latter two, with model numbers RMX3843 and RMX3841 respectively, have been spotted on TENAA.
Live images of the devices indicate that they will feature a design similar to the flagship Realme GT 5 Pro. They will come with a large circular camera module and will be available in leather finishes. The phones will also have a curved display, similar to their predecessors, and will retain the vertical line that runs along the rear of the handsets, dividing them into two.
Specifications of Realme 12 Pro Plus and Realme 12 Pro
In terms of specifications, the Realme 12 Pro Plus is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, which is also found in the rival Redmi Note 13 Pro. On the other hand, the Realme 12 Pro is said to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip.
Both models are expected to feature a comprehensive camera system, including wide, ultrawide, and zoom units. The Pro Plus variant has been confirmed to sport an OIS-assisted 64MP Omnivision OV64B periscope telephoto camera, while the Pro variant will come with a 32MP Sony IMX709 2x telephoto camera.
Unfortunately, there is no information available yet about the vanilla Realme 12. More details about the entire lineup are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
