The BattleDock Adapter is not meant to replace the official dock of the Nintendo Switch 2, but it works in conjunction with it. To use it, simply plug the BattleDock into the USB ports found on the Switch 2 dock. This means it won’t damage your Switch 2 (which you can find on Amazon priced at $499.99). Retro Fighters mentions that the BattleDock Adapter reduces the typical 4ms input latency found on the standard GameCube to Switch adapter.
