OnePlus 12 to be Announced on Dec. 4 in China
OnePlus has officially announced that it will be unveiling the OnePlus 12 on December 4th in China. This launch is in celebration of the company's 10th anniversary. While there has been no confirmation yet, it is expected that OnePlus will also announce the OnePlus Ace 3 alongside the OnePlus 12 on the same date.
A Look at OnePlus 12 Specifications
The OnePlus 12 is rumored to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, similar to the Xiaomi 14 series and the iQOO 12 lineup. The brand has already confirmed that the rear camera setup will feature the LYT-T808 main camera sensor and HyperTone camera optimizations. Reports suggest that the primary camera will be accompanied by a 48-megapixel IMX581 ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, the device is expected to sport a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
In terms of display, the OnePlus 12 is rumored to feature a 6.82-inch BOE X1 OLED display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to run on ColorOS 14-based Android 14.
The highest configuration variant of the OnePlus 12 is speculated to offer 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device is also likely to come with a 5,400mAh battery that may support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Possible OnePlus Ace 3 Announcement
In addition to the OnePlus 12, OnePlus may also unveil the OnePlus Ace 3 powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset on December 4th. However, an official confirmation from the company is yet to be released. Reports suggest that the OnePlus 12 will be available in the global market starting from January. It is also speculated that the OnePlus Ace 3 might be rebranded as the OnePlus 12R for the global market.
