CMF by Nothing has unveiled plans to release the CMF Phone 1 in both Indian and international markets on July 8. This launch follows the phone's recent NBTC certification, which has shed light on some key features before its official debut.
Certification and Specifications
The NBTC certification confirms that CMF by Nothing will introduce a smartphone with the model number A015, named "Phone 1," which will support 5G connectivity. While no further specifications were detailed, the certification implies that this device will also be launched in Thailand.
The CMF Phone 1, bearing the model number A015, has also been spotted on Geekbench. It achieved scores of 1016 in single-core tests and 2630 in multi-core tests. According to the listing, the phone will be equipped with an octa-core processor, 6GB of RAM, a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, and a peak clock speed of 2.50GHz. This reveals that the device will feature the Dimensity 7300 processor. Additionally, the listing confirms that the phone will run on Android 14.
Camera and Display Features
Further details reveal that the CMF Phone 1 will include a 50MP Sony primary camera with 2x in-sensor zoom and a secondary portrait camera, though it will lack Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS).
The device is expected to sport a 6.67-inch sAMOLED display with a center-aligned punch-hole, offering a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is also anticipated to support HDR10+ with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.
Additional Features
Moreover, the phone will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and bottom-firing speakers.
