Samsung Unveils Galaxy S24 Series at Galaxy Unpacked Event
Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S24 series at its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2024. The lineup includes three phones with minor design changes and some spec upgrades. Pre-orders for the devices have already begun in several markets, and shipping is set to commence as early as next week.
Pricing Details for China
While the pricing for some markets, like India, is yet to be revealed, we do have information regarding the prices in China. The Samsung Galaxy S24 series starts at ¥5,999 and goes up to ¥13,199.
The vanilla Galaxy S24 gets an exclusive 12GB RAM variant in China. However, this version comes with 256GB storage, while the 512GB storage model features 8GB RAM.
Color Options
The color options for the Galaxy S24 series in China are the same as those available in other markets. All three phones come in four standard colors and three Samsung.com-exclusive colors.
For the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus, the standard color options include Onyx Black, Marble Gray, Cobalt Violet, and Amber Yellow. On the other hand, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is available in Titanium Gray, Titanium Black, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow.
The three Samsung.com special colors are consistent across the trio, but they have different names. The vanilla and plus models come in Jade Green, Sandstone Orange, and Sapphire Blue. Meanwhile, the ultra model is offered in Titanium Green, Titanium Orange, and Titanium Blue.
Shipping Details
Customers can expect their pre-ordered handsets to start shipping on January 26.

Despite having minimal presence in the Chinese smartphone market, Samsung continues to price its devices at a premium level, similar to Apple, one of the leading players in the country.
