BYD Ocean Network has unveiled a sneak peek video introducing the upcoming Seal 06 DM-i prior to its official premiere at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show. Judging from the glimpses provided, the vehicle appears to be quite visually striking. However, the teaser hints that there is more to come beyond just the aesthetics.

The Seal 06 DM-i will maintain its 1.5L engine, capable of reaching a top speed of 180km/h. It embraces the Ocean Net family design language, characterized by sharp headlights, a sleek fastback profile along the sides, and distinctive taillights that run across the rear.
Specifications and Dimensions
According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Seal 06 DM-i will measure 4830mm in length, 1875mm in width, and 1495mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2790mm. These dimensions are comparable to the previously mentioned Qin L model. The vehicle will feature eye-catching petal-style wheels and various sunroof options such as panoramic, standard, or compact.
Performance and Technology
Equipped with a 1498ml engine generating 74kW of power and a maximum speed of 180km/h, the Seal 06 DM-i boasts an all-electric range of 90km and a fuel efficiency rating of 3.98L/100km. The design, as seen in the images, exudes a modern and sleek appearance, complemented by the stylized BYD logo. The upcoming debut at the Beijing Auto Show promises an exciting showcase of what the company has in store for this model.
