On February 6, Asus is set to present the Zenfone 12 Ultra to the international audience. This new model will follow the Zenfone 11 Ultra from the previous year. The company has yet to disclose any specific details about the device. Nonetheless, an X post shared by the brand shows its front design along with a few features of the upcoming phone.
Design Features of the Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra
The Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra is displayed with a flat screen and slim bezels on all sides. Although it’s not definitively clear, the bezels might be thinner compared to the last model. The advertisement depicts a person utilizing an AI-driven real-time call translation feature, suggesting that the Zenfone 12 Ultra might come packed with various AI functionalities. The phone showcased in the image appears to be in a cyan color and features a prominent camera module on the back. Interestingly, the lower edge of the device includes a 3.5mm audio jack, which makes it one of the few high-end smartphones that still include this now-rare feature.
Expected Specifications of the Zenfone 12 Ultra
Regarding specifications, the Geekbench listing for the Zenfone 12 Ultra that emerged earlier this month indicated that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 16 GB of RAM, and Android 15. Other specifications of the device remain undisclosed. There are many rumors suggesting that the specs of the Zenfone 12 Ultra could be similar to those of the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro, excluding its gaming-centric features. Hence, it is anticipated to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 165Hz refresh rate, a 32-megapixel front camera, and a triple camera arrangement on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel (main) camera, a 13-megapixel (ultra-wide) camera, and a 32-megapixel (telephoto) lens. Inside, the device is expected to boast the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, along with a substantial 5,800mAh battery that supports 65W wired and 15W wireless charging.
