At Computex 2024, ASUS unveiled two new gaming laptops, the TUF Gaming A14 and A16. These laptops are specifically tailored for gamers, featuring AMD Ryzen AI processors and NVIDIA RTX 40 series GPUs.

The TUF Gaming A16 boasts a 16-inch screen within a slim 17.9 mm chassis, achieving a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The display delivers 2.5K resolution, 400 nits of brightness, a 165 Hz refresh rate, and a 3 ms response time, fully supporting the sRGB color gamut. It also includes a larger touchpad and full-sized arrow keys for enhanced control. Connectivity options are plentiful, with two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, a USB 4 port with DisplayPort 2.1, a USB 3.2 Type-C port supporting 100W power delivery, an Ethernet jack, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5 mm combo jack.
Powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI processors, this model can be equipped with up to an RTX 4070 GPU and LPDDR5X-7500 memory. It also comes with a 90 Wh battery and advanced cooling technology to manage heat efficiently.
ASUS TUF Gaming A14
The TUF Gaming A14, while smaller, shares many features with the A16. It includes an RTX 4060 GPU and a 73 Wh battery. The system TDP is slightly lower at 100W, but it can be increased to 110W in Turbo mode. The 14-inch display also offers 2.5K resolution, 400 nits of brightness, a 165 Hz refresh rate, and a 3 ms response time.
Both laptops are designed for durability, with the A14 featuring a military-grade chassis and an FHD webcam that supports Windows Hello.
