ASUS recently introduced its ROG Zephyrus G16 2024 gaming laptop globally and initiated sales in the US a few weeks ago. The laptop is now also available in India.

The ROG Zephyrus G16 features a high-end aluminum CNC unibody design, making it 25% thinner than its predecessor. It is equipped with a 16-inch ROG Nebula OLED display, offering a QHD+ (2560 x 1600 pixels) resolution. The screen provides a 240Hz refresh rate and a rapid response time of 0.2ms. It reaches a peak brightness of 500 nits and is certified by Dolby Vision and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500. The display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and has Pantone-validated colors with an accuracy of Delta E < 1.
Inside, the laptop is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, complemented by up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-7500MHz RAM. For graphics, users can choose between an RTX 4060 and an RTX 4070 laptop GPU. The device includes two M.2 SSD slots and supports configurations of up to 4TB of storage.
Audio and Connectivity Features
The audio system is enhanced with a stereo speaker setup certified by Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. For seamless video calls, it offers two-way AI noise cancellation. The G16 is notable for being the first ROG laptop equipped with WiFi 7, providing ultra-fast wireless connectivity.
The laptop's I/O ports include 1 x USB4 (supporting DisplayPort / Power Delivery), 1 x Type C USB 3.2 Gen 2 (supporting DisplayPort / Power Delivery), 2 x Type-A USB 3.2 Gen 2, 1 x HDMI 2.1, 1 x SD Card Reader (SD 7.0), 1 x Audio jack, and 1 x ASUS Slim Power Jack. The dimensions are 35.4 x 24.6 x 1.49~1.74 cm, and it weighs 1.85 kg.
