Wallhack, a company better known for peripherals like mousepads, is entering the competitive gaming keyboard and mouse market for the first time. Its new K-001 keyboard and M-001 mouse look to carve out a niche by leaning heavily on premium materials, enthusiast-grade components, and a handful of unconventional features that distinguish them from more established rivals.
A Mechanical Foundation with Adjustable Typing Dynamics
The K-001 gaming keyboard is built around an aluminum chassis paired with a solid rubber base designed to prevent unwanted sliding during intense gameplay. That base is also replaceable; by removing a few screws, users can physically set the typing angle to a flat 0 degrees, or incline it to 4 or 7 degrees. Perhaps its most unusual addition is a dedicated hardware dial that allows the user to modify the actuation point of the keyswitches on the fly, a feature rarely seen on production keyboards.
All key functions are customized through the Wallhack Terminal, a web-based app that eliminates the need to install traditional software. Any configuration changes are written directly to the keyboard’s onboard memory. The K-001 uses KS-TR Hall-effect switches, developed specifically with Gateron, and offers customers a choice of three spring weights: light, medium, or heavy.
Ultra-Light Aiming with the M-001
The keyboard’s aggressive specifications carry over to the companion mouse. The Wallhack M-001 is an ultra-lightweight gaming mouse with a shell machined from magnesium just 0.6 millimeters thick, complemented by a solid aluminum scroll wheel. Under the hood, it relies on a top-tier PixArt 3950 optical sensor capable of reaching 30,000 DPI.
Both input devices push wireless polling rates of up to 8,000 Hz. The K-001 itself is a 65-percent layout board with a substantial 1.3-kilogram overall weight, reinforcing its desk-anchored feel.
