Capcom has outlined its content roadmap for the next phase of Street Fighter 6, confirming the launch window and pricing structure for the Year 4 character pass. The upcoming expansion is scheduled to bring four new fighters to the playable roster across PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and for the first time in this cycle, the Nintendo Switch 2.

A Staggered Fighter Rollout

The new characters will not arrive all at once. Capcom plans to release the four additions on a staggered schedule, beginning with the first fighter on August 3, 2026. The subsequent characters will follow in intervals, with the final combatant in the set expected to join the lineup by spring 2027. The company has detailed three distinct purchase options for players looking to access the new content.

Unverified Reveals and Active Events

Industry chatter has begun to circulate regarding a potential gameplay reveal for guest fighter Tifa Lockhart, possibly planned for Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25, 2026. While Capcom has officially confirmed its attendance at the event, the publisher has not issued any statement verifying that a trailer for the character is in production or scheduled to air.

Separately, the latest in-game event is already underway. The "Yasmine Arrives!" Fighting Pass went live on July 2, 2026, offering a purely cosmetic track that operates independently of standard balance and gameplay patches. This pass grants access to exclusive EX colors for Juri and Chun-Li, new challenger screens for Jamie and Sagat, and a fully playable version of the 1984 classic arcade title Pirate Ship Higemaru.
