Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for July 2026, giving subscribers across all tiers access to three new titles at no additional charge. As always, the games remain playable as long as an active membership is maintained. This month’s selection spans military shooters, cooperative strategy, and retro-infused action role-playing.
A Blockbuster Campaign Leads the Selection
Headlining the offering is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III on both PS5 and PS4. The entry continues the narrative established in Modern Warfare II, following Captain Price and Task Force 141 as they confront Vladimir Makarov’s escalating global threat. Subscribers gain access to the full single-player campaign, competitive multiplayer suite, and the expansive Zombies mode.
Cooperative Strategy and Tactical Exploration
The second title, For the King II, brings a turn-based strategic RPG experience to PS5 and PS4. Built around deliberate teamwork, the game supports solo play or parties of up to four adventurers journeying across the kingdom of Fahrul. Players must rally allies and fight through increasingly hostile forces to challenge Queen Rosomon, whose once-benevolent reign has plunged the land into peril.
A Retro-Modern Fusion with Sci-Fi Depth
Rounding out the month is CrossCode, a pixel-art action RPG designed for PS5 and PS4 that merges fast combat with intricate environmental puzzles. Players gather equipment, unlock new skills, and tailor their character builds while uncovering a layered science-fiction story. The title pairs 16-bit aesthetics with smooth modern mechanics, rewarding both careful exploration and quick reflexes.
Availability and Timing
All three games will be available to claim for PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium members from July 7 through August 3. Subscribers still have a limited window to secure June 2026’s complimentary titles before the lineup refreshes.
