Samsung’s Galaxy Able Earbuds and Next-Generation Smartwatches Surface in Leaked App Code

References to an unannounced wearable product called the “Samsung Galaxy Able” have been discovered inside the code of the Galaxy Wearable app, pointing to a new type of audio device joining the company’s ecosystem. The clues were found by SammyGuru in version 2.2.70.26060861 of the application, shortly after fresh images of the redesigned smartphone companion app began circulating online. Industry observers believe the Galaxy Able naming points to a new line of Galaxy Buds.

An Open-Ear Design with Bone Conduction

According to earlier rumors, the Galaxy Able are fully wireless earbuds built around an open-fit form factor that clips onto the outer ear instead of being inserted into the ear canal, a concept resembling devices such as the Anker Soundcore AeroClip. The product is said to rely on bone conduction technology, transmitting audio as vibrations through the skull directly to the inner ear. No further technical details about the conduction method or driver hardware have emerged at this stage.

Smartwatch Lineup Confirmed as Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra2

Separately, leaker @Alfaturk16 unearthed the Galaxy Watch9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 within the same app, all but confirming the official names of the upcoming smartwatch generation. While their imminent arrival has long been expected, the code references provide the first clear sign of how Samsung intends to brand the two models. A recent leak suggested the new wearables will carry slightly higher price tags than their predecessors.

The Galaxy Watch9 is expected to launch at a price between €409 and €489 depending on the variant, representing a €30 increase across the board. The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 looks set to reach €749, marking a €50 rise over the previous-generation Ultra. In exchange for the higher cost, buyers are rumored to get a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite chipset and substantially larger batteries, while the Ultra2 is also tipped to feature the brightest display ever fitted to a smartwatch.
