Introducing the New Compact Gaming Monitor
Recently, Asus surprised the gaming world with the launch of their new compact monitor, the ROG Strix XG129C. It also comes along with a massive 34-inch gaming display, but the highlight here is its smaller size which is perfect for gamers who needs a portable yet powerful device.
The monitor cinema-sized device feature a impressive 12.3-inch display, packed into a tiny frame of 304 x 130 x 24 mm. The screen resolution of 1,920 x 720 pixels coupled with a 24:9 aspect ratio makes it quite unique, giving users a wide viewing experience unlike traditional screens. The display boasts a brightness of 300 nits, a 75Hz refresh rate, and impressive color coverage with 90% DCI-P3 and 125% sRGB.

- Seven different colour temperature modes are included to optimize viewing based on preferences or lighting conditions.

The ROG Strix XG129C is available in the UK for £180.05 before VAT, approximately $244. When including VAT, the price increases to around £216.06 or roughly $293. In Australia, it goes for AUD 300, roughly $217, or AUD 272 (about $197) excluding the 10% GST. Although the price might seem high to some, Asus compensates with an extra bonus—a year's AIDA64 Extreme subscription, valued at $65, bundled with the monitor.
