Olight has formally unveiled the Seeker Ultra, an evolution of its Seeker 4 Pro handheld flashlight that retains the core design language of its predecessor while refining key specifications. The new model shares the same fundamental form factor but measures slightly longer at 5.4 inches and weighs 7.8 ounces, making it marginally larger and heavier than the earlier version. Performance gains are modest on paper: maximum beam distance increases by 16 feet to 869 feet, and peak output edges up to 4,800 lumens from 4,600 lumens. In everyday use, both improvements are likely to go unnoticed by most users.

Battery Capacity and Runtime Gains

A more meaningful upgrade comes from the power source. The Seeker Ultra moves to a 21700 cylindrical cell with a notably higher energy capacity of about 20.8 watt-hours, replacing the 18 watt-hour battery found in the Seeker 4 Pro. Olight directs the majority of that additional capacity toward improving sustained performance at moderate brightness levels. In the throttled 600-lumen mode, runtime doubles to 70 minutes, up from 35 minutes in the previous generation. At the lowest 5-lumen setting, maximum endurance extends from 15 days to 17 days. Turbo mode remains thermally constrained, however, delivering unchanged performance that cannot exceed approximately 2.5 minutes continuously.

Multiple Charging Paths

Charging flexibility sees a tangible expansion. The flashlight retains compatibility with Olight’s magnetic charging cable, which attaches to the tail section even though a switch occupies the rear position. The included holster also continues to function as a stationary charging dock. A new addition is a direct USB-C port located on the head of the flashlight, protected by a fixed cover. The holster dock itself now uses a USB-C connection rather than a proprietary port. Olight does not bundle the magnetic charging cable with the Seeker Ultra.

Pricing and Included Accessories

Olight is offering the Seeker Ultra at a retail price of $169. The package includes the multifunction holster that doubles as a charging dock. The upgraded battery endurance and expanded charging options position the Seeker Ultra as a practical iteration for users who value longer runtimes and modernized connectivity without a radical redesign.
