In a development that offers an early look at its upcoming budget-tier device, live images and key specifications of the Nothing Phone (4b) have surfaced online well ahead of its official debut. Nothing has already publicly teased the handset’s design, and the newly leaked photos provide a more concrete picture of what buyers can expect when it launches on July 7.

Design and color choices

The Phone (4b) will be offered in three finishes: Blue, Black, and White. All three variants feature a plastic frame, with black buttons accompanying the Blue and Black models, while the White version is distinguished by matching white buttons. The images, posted to X by the account @almightytech12, show the device from multiple angles, confirming the clean, transparent-inflected aesthetic the brand is known for.

Core specifications revealed

Several photos capture the “About Phone” screen, detailing a 6.7-inch Flexible AMOLED display. Although resolution and refresh rate remain unconfirmed, the panel type suggests an emphasis on vibrant colors and deep contrasts. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, a step below the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 found in the Nothing Phone (4a).

The unit shown in the leak carries 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, though additional memory and storage configurations have not been ruled out. Camera hardware includes a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel secondary lens, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

Battery, software, and market positioning

One standout feature is the 6,000mAh battery—the largest ever fitted in a Nothing smartphone. It supports 33W fast wired charging, though reports indicate the device will ship without a charger in the box. On the software side, the Phone (4b) will run Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16 out of the box.

Nothing has set the launch for 11 AM BST on July 7. When it arrives, the Phone (4b) is expected to undercut both the Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro on price, slotting into the lineup as a more accessible option. The new model also steps into the space left by the cancelled CMF Phone 3 Pro, giving the company a renewed entry point in the affordable segment.
