Minisforum has disclosed a comprehensive set of specifications for its upcoming MS-03 workstation, a compact system first previewed during Computex 2026. The device was originally shown alongside other recent hardware releases from the company, including the M2 Pro, S5 NAS, and N5 Max.

Processing and Graphics Architecture

The initial teaser hinted at an unspecified Intel Panther Lake processor, and the company has now identified the chip as the Core Ultra 9 386H. This silicon pairs four Cougar Cove P-Cores, eight Darkmont E-Cores, and four Darkmont LP E-Cores with an integrated 4 Xe3-core GPU. Compared to the earlier MS-01 model, internal benchmarks indicate that the new configuration should deliver a substantial leap in raw performance.

Networking and Storage Flexibility

Wired connectivity is a key focus of the design. Minisforum equips the MS-03 with dual 10 Gigabit fibre links driven by an Intel Ethernet Network Adapter X710, supplemented by additional 10 Gigabit and 2.5 Gigabit RJ45 Ethernet ports. Storage and expansion options include three M.2 2280 slots and a PCIe x16 slot intended for low-profile expansion cards, with further headroom available through two USB4 ports.

Memory and Thermal Management

The platform supports up to 128 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 7,200 MT/s. Thermal load is managed by a blower-style fan working alongside three heatpipes, all housed in a chassis that uses a tool-free, slide-out mechanism to simplify access. Minisforum has not yet published final pricing or a release date, though prospective buyers can register for a coupon code worth an equivalent of $50 across the company’s Australian, Canadian, EU, French, Korean, Japanese, Russian, UK, and US storefronts.
