Lenovo has quietly expanded the specifications for its premium Yoga Pro 9 series, signaling the arrival of a more powerful graphics configuration in global markets. The model, which was initially unveiled during CES in January, originally promised support for up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU. Since its April launch, however, the top available option in North America and Europe has been the GeForce RTX 5060.
A More Powerful GPU Joins the Lineup
The company recently updated the product documentation for the Yoga Pro 9 16IPH11 to include variants equipped with the GeForce RTX 5070 featuring 12 GB of VRAM. These new SKUs share the same 100 W total graphics power (TGP) as the existing RTX 5050 and RTX 5060 configurations. In China, where the laptop is sold as the Yoga Pro 16, the RTX 5070 12GB version is already listed at CNY 32,999 (approximately $4,873) when paired with 64 GB of RAM.
High-End Specifications and Global Availability
According to Lenovo’s PSREF database, the expanded global range will be marketed in North America under the name Lenovo Pro 9 16IPH11. These models will be offered exclusively in a high-end configuration combining the Core Ultra 9 386H processor, 64 GB of RAM, and a Tandem OLED display. The screen delivers a 3,200 x 2,000 resolution, a 120 Hz variable refresh rate, and peaks at 1,600 nits of brightness in HDR mode. While the updated listing confirms the hardware is destined for worldwide release, Lenovo has not yet disclosed official pricing or a launch date for markets outside China.
