Honor has introduced a new variant of its recently launched Watch 6 Plus, created in partnership with professional motorcyclist and ZXMoto founder Zhang Xue. The special edition, unveiled just weeks after the standard model’s late-May debut, targets riders with a set of design and software modifications tailored for life on two wheels.
Distinctive Design and Motorcycle-Themed Software
The Motorcycle Edition distinguishes itself with a leather strap accented in blue and red, alongside a custom startup animation that displays the ZXMoto logo. Honor has also reworked the operating system to include a range of motorcycle sound effects. A specialized watch face is capable of showing the speed limit for the rider’s current route, adding a practical navigation layer to the device.
Unchanged Hardware and Display
Beneath the themed exterior, the core specifications remain identical to the standard Watch 6 Plus. The wearable is built around a 1,000 mAh battery, a capacity that is 67 percent larger than the cell found in the Apple Watch Ultra 3. Honor estimates this enables up to 35 days of use in power-saving mode or 17 days under typical usage. A 1.46-inch AMOLED display delivers a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, while integrated health sensors track heart rate and blood oxygen saturation. The watch also supports over 120 sports modes and can evaluate the risk of high blood pressure.
Build, Connectivity, and Availability
Onboard features include speakers, microphones, an NFC chip, and a GPS module. The body combines stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic, achieving 5 ATM water resistance. At 46.5 millimeters in diameter and 10.8 millimeters thick, the device weighs 41 grams. In China, the Honor Watch 6 Plus Motorcycle Edition is priced at CNY 1,599 ($235), a CNY 400 ($59) premium over the standard version. Honor has not yet confirmed any plans for an international release.
