Indian wearable brand Noise has announced the REP, a display-free fitness tracker designed to capture health and activity data around the clock. The device enters a growing segment of screenless wearables that prioritize passive tracking, challenging products such as Whoop 5.0 but eliminating the need for a recurring subscription. Noise positions the REP between budget-friendly alternatives like the Fitbit Air ($99) and anticipatory launches such as the Garmin CIRQA.
Build, sensors, and battery life
The REP is built around a 27-gram stainless steel body rated for water resistance up to 5 ATM. It will be available in four color options, each paired with matching wristbands. Noise claims the tracker can deliver up to ten days of battery life from a single charge despite its compact form. The sensor array includes an SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen saturation and a skin temperature sensor, features that extend beyond the motion and heart rate sensors found in the Polar Loop. Continuous heart rate monitoring is also included.
Activity tracking and software integration
The band captures data continuously and is engineered to automatically detect more than 20 workout types. Sleep, stress, and menstrual cycle tracking run without manual input. Because the REP does not include a built-in GPS module, users will need to carry a smartphone to record distance during runs. Collected data flows into a companion app that uses artificial intelligence to help interpret health and activity trends. The platform supports synchronization with Apple Health, Google Health, and Strava.
Pricing and availability
Noise will launch the REP first in India, where it will be offered at an introductory price of INR 9,999 (approximately $104). The company indicates that the price will later rise to INR 12,999 (roughly $136). An international release has not yet been confirmed.
