How do the enemies, items, and experiences in that map all connect? It’s about creating that thematic cohesion so that when players see, ‘Oh, the Whatever Update just launched for Arc Raiders. Let’s dive in,’ that’s what we’re aiming for in the upcoming months.”
Regarding the design of maps, Watkins indicated that players should anticipate a variety of experiences. Some of the new maps will be smaller and more concentrated, while others may exceed the size of current locations like Blue Gate or Spaceport. However, size isn’t the primary focus.
