The top-notch earbuds deliver spatial audio customized for each wearer and active noise cancellation designed to provide a listening environment up to 2x quieter than the prior model, according to Apple.
Personalized audio features
The AirPods Pro 3 come with Adaptive EQ to enhance music reproduction based on ear fit, with Dynamic Head Tracking to place speakers in an virtual sound environment during FaceTime and other calls. Apple iPhones can take TrueDepth photos of the ear to further customize the sound reproduction for Personalized Spatial Audio, enabling virtual soundstages to be even more immersive.
Durability and health limitations
Although it does have an IP57 rating, this top-end model is not fully submersible, unlike other headphones that can be used while swimming (such as this bone conduction model on Amazon).
