Anker has announced the launch of the Solix C1000 Gen 2 Power Station. This device, which was speculated about earlier this year, enhances the original Solix C1000 power station that debuted in 2023.

Fast Charging Capabilities

The new Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2 is touted as the quickest recharging 1 kWh portable power station, made possible by cutting-edge charging tech. When using UltraFast mode with a 1,600W AC input, users can achieve a full recharge in as little as 49 minutes. Alternatively, the device can also be charged with up to 600W solar input.

Versatile Power Supply

You can power as many as ten devices at once, with a maximum output of 2,000 W (3,000 W peak). The US variant of the device features five AC ports, three USB-C ports, one USB-A port, and one 12V car port. Its 1,024 Wh LFP battery is designed to retain 80% capacity after 4,000 cycles, which means it can last roughly ten years. This capacity enables you to run a computer monitor for 0.1 hours, a microwave for 1.3 hours, or recharge an iPhone nearly 70 times. Additionally, you can manage and control the power station from a distance using the Anker app.

Portable and Compact Design

Ideal for camping trips or as a backup power source at home, the device measures 15.1 x 8.2 x 9.6 inches (~384 x 208 x 244 mm) and weighs 24.9 lbs (~11.3 kg). Anker claims that this makes it about 14% smaller and 11% lighter than similar models that offer the same capacity.

The Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2 Power Station is set to be available in the US on September 8th for $799. However, by signing up on the brand’s website, you can score an introductory discount of $370, bringing the price down to $429 on launch day. Versions for the UK and EU, each equipped with four AC outlets, are also expected soon, although their prices have not yet been disclosed.
