We have previously reviewed the N5 Pro, which is currently priced at $959 on Amazon; Minisforum also offers the N5 and N5 Air models featuring AMD Hawk Point APUs.

In contrast to its predecessors, the N5 Max utilizes AMD’s more robust Strix Halo architecture. Interestingly, Minisforum intends to release this new NAS equipped with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395, even though AMD has introduced a lower-cost Ryzen AI Max+ 392 for OEMs as well. Consequently, the N5 Max will boast 16 Zen 5 CPU cores along with 32 threads, complemented by a Radeon 8060S integrated GPU.
