The Neo 3 GT is powered by the advanced Unisoc T9100 chipset. Built on a 6 nm process, this chipset includes one ARM Cortex-A76 core clocked at 2.7 GHz, three additional cores at 2.3 GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.1 GHz. Furthermore, it features a Mali-G57 MP4 GPU, which drives the same 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080p and a refresh rate of 120 Hz found in the Neo 3. However, the Neo 3 GT’s display can reach a peak brightness of 1,300 nits (HBM), surpassing the 1,000 nits available in the Neo 3.
Enhanced Camera and Cooling
Interestingly, the Neo 3 GT has the same camera setup as the Neo 3, which includes a 50 MP main camera, a 16 MP front camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. Nonetheless, ZTE claims that the Neo 3 GT is equipped with a 4,083 mm² vapour chamber cooling system to avoid thermal throttling during long gaming periods. To enhance the gaming experience, ZTE has added a pair of shoulder triggers located near the power and volume buttons. Additionally, the Neo 3 GT supports pass-through charging and can charge its 6,000 mAh battery with 80 W wired charging.
Pricing and Availability
The Neo 3 GT comes with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, priced at PHP 12,999 (~$227), which is lower than its original retail price of PHP 14,999 (~$261). ZTE offers it in two color options: Electro Yellow and Interstellar Grey, but there is only one memory variant available. Previously, ZTE mentioned that the Neo 3 GT would be globally available by the end of March; however, it has not yet appeared on Nubia’s global website. Meanwhile, the company is still promoting the Z70 Ultra, which is currently priced at $769 on Amazon and was reviewed at the end of last year.
