Xiaomi Water Purifier: Smart Waste Ratio, Touchscreen Display

Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Water Purifier 1200G Pro. This advanced model enhances the earlier Mijia Water Purifier 1200G by incorporating features like "Zero Stale Water 3.0 Technology," "Intelligent Adjustment of Pure Wastewater Ratio," "Intelligent Touch Screen Display Faucet," and "Multi-speed Quantitative Water Extraction."

Enhanced Water Quality Monitoring

The purifier is designed to monitor water quality by identifying the TDS value of incoming water and dynamically adjusting the pure wastewater ratio in real-time. For those who may not know, TDS refers to Total Dissolved Solids, indicating the total concentration of dissolved substances in water, such as inorganic salts and organic materials.

If the TDS level is ≥150ppm, the device sets the wastewater to pure water ratio at 2:1. If the TDS is <150ppm, this ratio adjusts to 3:1. This efficiency is a significant improvement over typical residential RO systems, which usually maintain a wastewater to pure water ratio of 4:1.

Long-lasting and Smart Features

Xiaomi claims the RO filter element has a lifespan of 5 years, with an average daily cost as low as 0.15 yuan. The Mijia Water Purifier 1200G Pro comes equipped with a large touchscreen that displays the water purification status in real-time and allows for easy control of water dispensing. Additionally, it can fill different container sizes effortlessly due to its intelligent features.

The purifier supports smart connectivity via the Xiaomi Home app, enabling users to check water quality or control water dispensing remotely for added convenience.

Pricing and Availability

The Mijia Water Purifier 1200G Pro is now available for pre-sale on Xiaomi Youpin. It requires a deposit of 50 yuan (~$7), and the total price after the deposit is 1,999 yuan, approximately $280. The product is set to be available for purchase at 8 pm on September 5.
