Xiaomi has introduced the MIJIA Air Purifier 5 and has begun accepting pre-orders for this new device. Priced at an introductory rate of 999 yuan ($139), pre-sales have commenced just ahead of its official launch on August 15.
Features
The MIJIA Air Purifier 5 includes dust sensor monitoring, air quality visualization, and various other capabilities. Its dust function sensor can detect changes in large particles such as decoration dust, sandstorms, and airborne dust. Users can monitor the pollution levels in real-time, displayed on an LCD color panel.
In terms of efficiency, the MIJIA Air Purifier 5 can eliminate 98% of pollen allergens per hour and 99.98% of PM10 particles per hour. It also effectively removes several common allergens and has a 98.1% formaldehyde removal rate. The device is equipped with a long-life filter lasting 12 months and features a low-noise operation, with a maximum noise level of 30.1dB. It supports HyperOS Connect and can be managed via the MIJIA app and XiaoAI.
The purifier is designed with a detachable top cover and a magnetic door, making it easy to replace the filter and clean the internal air duct and fan blades.
