Xiaomi has shared all the important information about the Poco M7 Pro 5G, which they have been hinting at for a while on social media. Interestingly, the Poco M7 Pro 5G is the first model in this series. We think that Xiaomi might introduce more models soon, including non-Pro and 4G versions.
Design and Display Features
The Poco M7 Pro 5G combines elements from the Redmi Note 14 5G and a variant sold only in China. Xiaomi has equipped the Poco M7 Pro 5G with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen that provides a 1080p resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, reaching a peak brightness of 2,100 nits. Additionally, the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chip and boasts a 5,110 mAh battery with 45 W wired charging support.
Camera Specifications
In terms of camera, Xiaomi has included a 50 MP primary camera with optical stabilization, using the Sony LYT-600 sensor, which offers a 26 mm equivalent focal length and a 1/1.95-inch optical format. Besides that, there’s a 2 MP secondary camera, similar to the Chinese version of the Redmi Note 14. On the front, the Poco M7 Pro 5G carries a 20 MP camera from the Redmi Note 14 5G that was launched recently in India and is expected to arrive in Europe shortly.
Pricing and Availability
To sum it up, the Poco M7 Pro 5G is basically a Redmi Note 14 in a different package. It will be available for purchase in India starting December 20, offered in Lavender Frost, Lunar Dust, and Olive Twilight colors. At launch, the price for the device will be INR 14,999 (~$177) for the version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Alternatively, Flipkart will sell a model with 8 GB of RAM and double the storage for INR 16,999 (~$200). The details about its availability in other countries are still unclear at this moment.
