Xiaomi has recently revealed the 2025 Redmi Smart TV X series, introducing a lineup of four new models. Each model is equipped with a 4K display and can reach a maximum refresh rate of 240 Hz. The smallest variant measures 55 inches, while the largest boasts an impressive 85-inch screen.
Color Accuracy and Performance
All models in the series are designed to cover 94% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum, ensuring a precise and vibrant color output. At the core of these TVs lies the MediaTek MT9655 processor, which is positioned as a "flagship" chip with a quad-core setup. This is complemented by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Xiaomi claims that this combination delivers excellent responsiveness, which is particularly important for gaming enthusiasts.
Smart Features and Connectivity
Regarding the operating system, the 2025 Redmi Smart TV X series utilizes HyperOS 2.0, similar to many of Xiaomi's latest smart devices. This integration allows for a seamless connection with other compatible gadgets. Additionally, the TVs come equipped with an NFC remote control to make navigation simpler and more intuitive.
The new series also boasts features like WiFi 6, a high-resolution user interface, eye protection settings for comfortable viewing, and a smart control center. The entry-level model has a price tag of CNY 2,179 (approximately $300), while the premium version is priced at CNY 4,799 (around $649) in China.
Availability and Alternatives
Details regarding global pricing and availability are not yet available, but Xiaomi has a history of launching previous X series models internationally. If you’re in the market for something with similar specifications that is already available worldwide, consider the 50-inch Vizio MQ series 4K 120 Hz QLED TV, currently retailing for $426.99 on Amazon.
