Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro & Redmi K80 Ultra Details
New information comes from the well-known tipster Smart Pikachu (Via TechOutlook). According to a post on Weibo, the Redmi K80 Ultra and the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor positioned beneath the display. It seems that the Chinese tech company is currently experimenting with this sensor for the Civi 5 Pro and K80 Ultra models. This means you’ll have an improved sensor for fingerprint security compared to their predecessors, the Civi 4 and K70 series.
Advantages of Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanners

Unlike optical scanners that provide 2D mapping, these sensors can generate 3D images of your fingerprints. They are also quicker and can read fingerprints even when fingers are wet, oily, or dirty.
