The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has surfaced as two models of the same “Satellite Digital Mobile Phone” in a recent leak; however, according to the trustworthy source Digital Chat Station (DCS), there are indeed differences between them.
Differences in Models
It appears that one model (the 25010PN30C) will feature satellite messaging through the Beidou network, while the other model (25019PNF3C) will lack this capability. DCS’s latest insights are based on a new registration that Xiaomi submitted to China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) regarding both devices.
Potential Release Date
If this information turns out to be correct, it could support DCS’s claim that the 15 Ultra is set to launch in February 2025, aiming to outpace its closest competitors, the OPPO Find X8 Ultra and Vivo X200 Ultra, in the Chinese market.
Expected Features
As such, the 15 Ultra may be revealed as a high-end flagship that allows satellite calls using the Tiantong network, along with an additional premium SKU that offers the ability to send messages without relying on GSM.
The upcoming 15-series flagship is believed to resemble its predecessor, the 14 Ultra, but it is expected to feature even more advanced Leica-branded rear cameras, a stronger display (literally), and an upgrade to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, catering to the latest high-end Android devices, like the RedMagic 10 Pro available on Amazon.
