It is anticipated to debut in China by the end of February, with an international reveal shortly thereafter at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). This implies that both launches will occur nearly together, with just a few days apart. For reference, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra was introduced in China on February 22 and made its global debut three days later at MWC 2024.
Certification and Features of Xiaomi 15 Ultra
A Weibo post from the leaker Digital Chat Station indicates that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has obtained all necessary certifications in China. A notable feature is that all variants will include support for the Tiantong satellite calling function as standard. The high-end model will also offer support for Beidou satellite text messaging. DCS also reaffirmed that the 15 Ultra is set to be revealed in February.
The Ultra edition will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, similar to the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro. Its screen is predicted to be a 2K resolution OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, providing a seamless and engaging visual experience.
