Qualcomm is anticipated to reveal the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip at the Snapdragon Summit 2024 from October 21 to October 23. Following this announcement, Xiaomi is expected to host a launch event in China, introducing the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro as the first smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. There is speculation that the Pro model will be exclusive to the Chinese market, while the standard and Ultra models will be available globally.

Design and Upcoming Releases

The Xiaomi 15 series is rumored to feature both straight and curved screen options, with potential specifications including a 1.5K small straight screen for the standard model and a 2K equal-depth quad-curved screen for the Pro model. The design may also include a square camera island located in the upper left corner and a right-angle metal frame with chamfered edges.

Besides the Xiaomi 15 series, several other flagship smartphones are expected to launch in the upcoming months, such as the Vivo X200 series, Oppo Find X8 series, OnePlus 13, iQOO 13, Realme GT 7 Pro, and Redmi K80 series, with releases likely between October and November.
