Xiaomi 14T Pro Render Reveals New Leica-Branded Camera Design

The launch of the Xiaomi 14T Pro is anticipated to occur sometime in September, mirroring the release schedule of last year's Xiaomi 13T Pro. Recently, PassionateGeekz unveiled a rendering of the device, highlighting an updated design for the camera island.

Camera Design and Features

The Xiaomi 14T Pro is expected to feature a total of three rear cameras, similar to its predecessor. However, the arrangement of the cameras and flash module has shifted to a square layout, diverging from the triangular design of the Xiaomi 13T Pro. Additionally, the Leica branding has been repositioned to the center of the camera island, moving from its previous lower-left corner. The rendering suggests a more streamlined camera island design compared to the older model, particularly noticeable at the edges.

Front Design and Specifications

Looking at the front of the device, the render indicates a design that closely resembles the previous model, but with marginally thinner bezels. The location of the Xiaomi branding on the back and the side buttons appears unchanged from the prior version.

Technical Details and Pricing

As per an earlier leak, the camera system includes LEICA VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:1.6-2.2/15-60 ASPH lenses, with the primary camera reportedly utilizing the 1.1.31″ Light Fusion 900 sensor.

Pricing for the 14T Pro is estimated at €899 for the 12GB + 512GB variant, while the standard 12GB + 256GB Xiaomi 14T is expected to be priced at around €649. Although specific storage and memory configurations remain uncertain, it is known that the standard and Pro models will be powered by the Dimensity 8300-Ultra and Dimensity 9300+ chips, respectively.

Additional Features

The Xiaomi 14T Pro has already secured NBTC certification and has been spotted on Geekbench. The device will boast a 6.67″ 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, consistent with its predecessor, yet it will offer a higher peak brightness (4000 nits compared to 2600 nits). Internally, it houses a 5000 mAh battery and is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.
