Vivo has introduced a new Y-series smartphone in the Singaporean market, named the Vivo Y28 4G. This phone is a successor to the Vivo Y27, featuring some incremental improvements. Its design is quite similar to the iQOO Z9 series. Additionally, a 5G version of the Vivo Y28 has been available in India since January this year. Here’s what the Vivo Y28 4G brings to the table.

The Vivo Y28 4G mirrors the iQOO Z9 series in terms of design, showcasing a squarish camera island on its rear panel and a flat metallic high-gloss frame. The power button also serves as a fingerprint scanner. The device is IP64-certified for dust and water resistance.
Up front, the Vivo Y28 4G sports a 6.68-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1,608 x 720 pixels. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. For audio, it features dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio certification, promising an immersive sound experience.
Camera and Performance
When it comes to photography, the Vivo Y28 4G is equipped with dual rear cameras that include a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP bokeh lens, accompanied by an LED flash unit. The phone also boasts Dynamic Light that syncs with music, gentle notifications, and a selfie countdown feature. On the front, it has an 8MP camera for selfies.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y28 4G is powered by a Helio G85 processor. The device comes with 8GB of RAM, 8GB of virtual RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. It is fueled by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 14, which is based on Android 14.
